Tim is a native of Arizona, having grown up and attended high school in Mesa before obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University..
Upon graduation, Tim began his career in electrical engineering consulting and quickly gained exposure to various aspects of the industry. Within the first few years out of college he was exposed to and gained experience with nearly every facet of the architectural engineering industry. He soon mastered creating construction documents for everything from small tenant improvement projects to large mission critical facilities. He gained valuable knowledge and experience working on various projects with many different architectural firms and stakeholders across several states. Tim learned quickly that precise and intuitive engineering solutions coupled with strong client relationships were the key to success. Nothing is more important in the consulting industry than how we work together.
After a couple of years working in the small business environment Tim moved to a large international AE firm in order to expand the breadth and depth of his engineering experience and knowledge. Here, Tim was able to work on projects all over the world and gained valuable experience. It was here that Tim learned the true value and power of building information modeling (BIM). Using Revit (BIM) Tim was able to increase the efficiency and the financial success for each and every project he worked on. With every new project he's been able to strengthen and expand his skill set and grow his engineering intuition again and again and again.
After four years working in the Electrical Engineering consulting field Tim took and passed the professional engineering test and officially became a licensed P.E. He is currently licensed as a professional engineer in several states. He continues to work on a variety of project types but has begun to focus his experience around mission critical facilities, higher education and healthcare. Examples of Tim's project experience and expertise can be found here.
